Deaton has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his phenomenal work in the Food Service Industry. As Restaurant Manager for Hog's Breath Cafe of Holden Hill, Mr. Deaton has consistently demonstrated the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world.

Hog's Breath Cafe is a franchise of themed licensed restaurants catering to all ages. They incorporate three interacting components, which are a seated food service area, a licensed saloon bar and a merchandise shop exclusively carrying the Hogster clothing label. The incredible success of the chain has allowed for them to earn important tourism dollars and provide much needed local job opportunities.

Matthew is responsible for managing all major aspects of the business as well as overseeing the daily operations. During his educational career, he earned a certificate in Hospitality Management. Mr. Deaton was the recipient of an Academic Excellence Award for 2003-2004. In the time away from his busy schedule, he greatly enjoys spending time with his family and reading.
